1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
This document outlines the terms and conditions that govern the services provided by Qiana Hauling & Trucking LLC. By engaging our services, requesting a quote, or authorizing a shipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these corporate trucking policies.
2. Definitions
- Carrier: Qiana Hauling & Trucking LLC.
- Shipper: The entity requesting the transportation of goods (Client).
- Freight: The goods or commodities scheduled for transport.
3. Quoting and Booking Process
All quotes provided by Qiana Hauling & Trucking LLC are based on the information provided by the Shipper at the time of inquiry. Quotes remain valid for 7 calendar days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing is subject to freight verification, weight accuracy, and current fuel surcharges at the time of dispatch.
4. Client Obligations
Shippers are responsible for providing accurate weight, dimensions, and descriptions of all cargo. Failure to disclose hazardous materials or specialized equipment needs may result in service refusal or additional surcharges.
- Proper packaging and securing of goods in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensuring loading and unloading sites are accessible for heavy-truck traffic.
- Verification of all shipping documentation prior to driver departure.
5. Payment Terms, Invoicing, and Fuel Surcharges
Standard payment terms are Net 30 days from the invoice date, unless a separate credit agreement is in place. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest fee. Fuel surcharges are adjusted weekly based on the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) National Average for On-Highway Diesel prices.
6. Liability, Insurance, and Cargo Claims Process
Qiana Hauling & Trucking LLC maintains standard cargo insurance as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing within 9 months of the delivery date. Note that liability is limited per pound unless a higher value is declared and additional insurance is purchased prior to transport.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled pickup will be subject to a "Truck Ordered Not Used" (TONU) fee. The amount varies based on equipment type and location.
